Character Points are probably one of the least undrstood parts of Major Mud. Hopefully this will take care of any questions or frustrations you have had in trying to improve your character. Character Points, or CPS, are gained every time you level and are used to improve your stats. By now most of you would have noticed that sometimes it takes more CPS to raise a stat than others, well here is why...the higher you raise a stat above its "base" the more CPS it takes to raise it. This is why it is VERY improtant to make sure the Race of your character is going to compliment the requirements of the Class you have chosen. For instance... you have 100 CPS to "spend" when you first roll up a character, using the chart below, you can see how high you may raise any stat...and how many levels you will have to gain before you will be able to raise a stat to a certain level.
